Char Marie has been studying and practicing the Chinese healing arts for over ten years. With a beginning in the healing art of qigong, she learned and practiced qigong healing from Donald Londorf, MD, L.Ac. in Rochester, NY and also Grandmaster TK Shih, OMD in Danbury, CT beginning in 1997. She studied more than 10 years with both of these masters of qigong before beginning her independent practice in Connecticut. She also practiced qigong privately, and in a variety of health care environments in Rochester, NY, before coming to Connecticut.
Char graduated from Nanjing University in 2001, after completing a clinical internship in Chinese medicine at the University's hospital, which also integrated western medicine diagnostics and therapies. Char worked with many children in China in the clinic, and also with adults in neurology clinic in addition to general Chinese medicine clinics.
The roots of the art of qigong and energy medicine continue to be the foundation of Char's work in healing and Chinese medicine. She enjoys teaching and speaking for a variety of audiences, from the public to the health care community and physicians, and sharing the ancient arts of Chinese medicine and energetics.
Char Marie lives and practices Chinese medicine and Qigong Healing on the beach, in Milford, Connecticut.
